The HBA is excited to welcome the first-ever Community Impact entry into this year's Parade of Homes™! This special home isn’t eligible for the People’s Choice Award, and you don’t need to visit it to enter the closet package drawing. Even so, we hope you’ll take the time to tour the home and learn about Elijah Family Homes and their mission to support our community.
#11 Lexar Homes of Tri-Cities
Sunrise Village
784 Square Feet
Sunrise Village is a transformational housing initiative by Elijah Family Homes, a Tri-Cities nonprofit that has been fostering hope, dignity, and self-sufficiency for families in Benton and Franklin counties for over 20 years. Created to address the growing need for stable housing and long-term support, Sunrise Village will provide up to seven families at a time with a safe, welcoming place to live while they work toward recovery, stability, and lasting independence.
More than a housing development, Sunrise Village is designed to help families rebuild their lives through compassionate case management, comprehensive support services, and a strong sense of community. Many families begin their journey in Elijah Family Homes’ evidence-based Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP), where bachelor’s level case managers walk alongside pregnant and parenting mothers for up to three years, helping them achieve lasting recovery, access treatment, strengthen parenting skills, and build stability. As participants progress in their recovery and achieve sustained sobriety, they may transition into the Transition to Success (TTS) program, where they receive up to three additional years of stable housing, individualized support, life skills education, and accountability. Together, these two programs allow Elijah Family Homes to support families for as many as six years, providing the guidance, encouragement, and resources they need to overcome barriers related to addiction, homelessness, and instability while creating healthier futures for themselves and their children.
This long-term, relationship-centered approach has produced remarkable results. Ninety-six percent of families who complete Elijah Family Homes’ Transition to Success program graduate with the skills, stability, and confidence to live independently and remain self-sufficient. These outcomes reflect Elijah Family Homes’ commitment to providing more than housing; they provide the consistent guidance, accountability, and encouragement that empower families to create lasting change.
Sunrise Village represents an investment in stronger families and a stronger Tri-Cities. By providing a foundation of stability and surrounding parents and children with the resources they need to thrive, Sunrise Village is creating opportunities for healing, restoring hope, and transforming lives for generations to come.
