#2 Will Willingham
Public House 255
Chef Will Willingham has a New American style of cooking. He was part of the very first Chefs on Parade in 2011, with more attendance throughout the years. He has cooked for some pretty well-known restaurants in the area. He donates his time to local fundraisers, such as the Tri-City Cancer Center, Second Harvest, Taking Strides: Richland High Suicide Awareness Walk, and many other local non-profits. He recently started Willingham Hospitality LLC, and opened Public House 255 in Richland, a fusion of PNW with Southern influence, which showcases an amazing menu full of flavor, cooking up Seared Duck in Creamy Grits, Shrimp + Grits Poutine, Bloody Mary Burger, Columbia River Steelhead, Clam Linguine, Pad Thai Pizza, and Pimento Cheese Sliders, just to name a few. When he says local, he means it, using premium beef right here in the Tri-Cities from Ickes Beef Co.
Chef Will lived in both the Portland and Seattle areas, moving to the Tri-Cities in 2000. He has been working in restaurants for around 30+ years. He developed his skills by working in the front to back of the restaurant industry in corporate and locally owned restaurants and boutique hotels. He has traveled around the country to help open new restaurants, and has also worked here locally to support, re-structure, and coach in existing restaurants to improve sales, quality of food, and customer service.
