Chef Joshua Krueger had already established himself as a bright culinary star in the Tri-Cities when he became chef at Barnard Griffin Winery in 2016.
It was there that Josh met Marc Newman, now the owner of The Social, leading their professional and personal relationship to blossom. Since that time, they would throw ideas around about collaborating and starting a restaurant of their own. Both would go onto separate ventures but kept in contact for the next few years.
Josh’s role as Executive Chef and Culinary Director at The Bradley allowed him to master his professional and creative skills in the kitchen. At this juncture Marc came calling with the idea of a full-service restaurant and bar expansion to his existing business in The Parkway. The rest is history.
